Income Report – March 2016

(This post may contain affiliate links. For more information, see my disclosure policy.)

Welcome to Income Mesh’s 14th income report.

I am writing these income reports each month so that I can track my traffic and income progress and so that you can learn from me, follow my steps and make money like I do.

What happened in March 2016

March was really a good month, regarding my income with this blog, but also with the amount of blog posts published and quality of the same.

I’m proud to say that I wrote and published probably the best Thrive Leads review you’ll find everywhere, with live demos of all features, you should really check it out.

Funny enough at about the same time Thrive Themes launched a new product called Thrive Headline Optimizer, which I also covered in a nice review. If you want to find out how to improve your blog posts headlines (titles) go ahead and check it out, you might just end up with a higher click through rate. πŸ™‚

And finally, one of my favorite articles, simple and newbie friendly, how to find profitable niche for your new blog. Finally a guide anyone can follow and implement from the get go, without any complicated tools or tactics. I’ll cover advanced keyword research soon on this blog too.

You’ll see more about the traffic and revenue below, but I must admit this was my best month so far, profit wise. Slowly getting to that $2000/month mark I want to much.

Now let’s see all the traffic and revenue details…

Traffic statistics

GA March vs February 2016 Overview

And here it is.. now there’s no real surprise here since February had 2 days less than March, so the session increase is logic (together with pageviews). What bugs me is the bounce rate dropped 5%, not sure why that happened, but let’s try to figure it out from the channels report below.

GA - March vs February 2016 Channels

Wow this is awesome, huge increase in organic traffic, over 800 more session.

Other things are also logical, since (again) March was a bit longer than February, but we can see a huge drop from social traffic. That’s mostly from Facebook, since in February someone shared my articles in some highly engaged groups or pages.

And this image confirms just that.

Now let’s see which blog posts were the most popular on Income Mesh in March 2016.

No drastic changes here except the article about how to get premium photos for free. The funny thing is that is the least valuable post (read: brings no money) and it’s the most visited one πŸ™‚

Enough with this boring stuff, let’s count some money πŸ™‚

Income Report

March was my best month ever, second time in a row (after February) and there’s for sure reasons to celebrate πŸ™‚

Wrapping it up

Now that’s what I call a good month of affiliate marketing πŸ™‚

April, we’ll see how will it go, may be just as good, or maybe not, you’ll have to wait for my next income report.

Until than, I will hopefully (that’s the plan at least) introduce you to some new really cool projects of mine plus new useful articles.

How was your March?
